It looked like Matt McAndrew had the prime spot on The Voice 2014 last night, as the Voice Finale kicked off and the four remaining artists each performed three songs and Matt was the last one to perform during each round. Why is that? Well, maybe NBC is rooting for a Matt McAndrew win on The Voice Season 7? For his first performance, he took on his original song. It is cool to see the coaches work with their artists on these original songs. I am loving this new concept this season and think these singles are going to take off! I will admit, this song gave me chills. I have been a fan of Matt all season long, but this song just fits his voice and he nailed this performance. This was so good and all four artists are bringing it tonight on The Voice USA 2014!

For the second performance, Matt took the stage with his coach Adam Levine. They both brought out their guitars for this one. Matt has such a unique sound to his voice and I love it. This is one of those indie-type songs and it works with Matt’s voice. They had a good sound together and really hit their stride with the chorus.

For the final performance, he took on a selection from his coach. He has cracked the iTunes Top 10 three times this season (and the only singer to do that), so that should win it for him alone, right? This song has been sung hundreds of times on these singing competition shows, but this could be a whole new take on it and I am excited! This was slow and calm and he just sang and I love the sound of his voice. He brought it tonight and I think he will be the winner of The Voice Season 7!
